answer the call international
Answer the Call is cross cultural ministry that has been birthed out of a desire to fulfill Christ's calling to the poor and destitute. As Christians under the mandate of the Great Commission, it is our privilege to serve of "the least of these" (Matt 25:40). Although our first contact, and primary focus is India, the Lord has been opening doors to the Nations and has increased our vision. We have had contact and developed relationships in Guyana, Pakistan, and Haiti. Each ministry has its own needs and special dynamics, but the call is the same. There are poor churches, many of whom take care of orphans and street children, widows, homeless, outcasts in society, lepers, and untouchables. We want to be the hands and feet of Jesus, to "go ye' and show the tangible love of God in a world where many have never experienced a love so powerful. To minister this love to them, pray for them and see them recover, provide water purifiers so they can drink safely without the fear of disease. Help them to learn a trade or craft so they can experience independence and have their dignity restored, and to help feed, clothe and educate the needy. We are quite sure there are going to be many adventures while we explore and find those whom the Lord has highlighted for us. If you are interested and want to be a part of this ministry, please contact us, there are so many ways to be a part of ATC, through prayer partnering, missions trips, event and fund raising planning, financial support, and more.
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised. Luke 4:18
Proclaiming the whole gospel means much more than evangelism in the hopes that people will hear and respond to the good news of salvation by faith in Christ. It also encompasses tangible compassion for the sick and the poor, as well as biblical justice, efforts to right the wrongs that are so prevalent in our world. God is concerned about the spiritual, physical and social dimensions of our being. This whole gospel is truly good news for the poor, and it is the foundation for a social revolution that has the power to change the world. And if this was Jesus' mission, it is also the mission of all who claim to follow him. It is my mission, it is your mission, and it is the mission of the church.
