I can’t forget about the woman I met at the airport. Her adopted son was born with no intenstines. He is on a list for an operation. I didn’t know there was such a implant. But this woman’s love for this little toddler was so touching. She knew he was a gift from God, but how many people would take on a child with such a condition through adoption. It really touched my heart. A classic example of unconditional love. We prayed together right there at the car pick up point and most of my prayers were for the woman. That the Lord would strengthen her and provide for her… what a lovely encounter. They also have a blog with updates on his health, I’ll be checking in now and then and see how this dear child does. I am quite certain he has a huge calling on his life to go through so much, so young.
And now this morning, after coffee, and a catch up talking time, I’m getting ready to go to the airport. Oh yipee…I think it is 13 hours to Seoul Korea. Humm… wonder who i’ll sit by? I pray the lord will give me spiritual eyes to see, and if I can have an opportunity to encourage someone, or listen, and somehow extend a hand, that I wont miss it. That the awesome thing about these trips… opportunity just waiting to happen. Just another part of the journey.
